Two tables make up Playtime's poker room, both dealing No Limit Texas Hold'em at blinds of $1-3 and $2-5. It opens daily at 4 pm and goes to close. In other words, close falls at 1 am on Sunday through Tuesday and at 2 am on Wednesday through Saturday. Seat reservations begin at 11 am by phone at 250-860-9467, and the same number is the check for a holiday night.
Dinner follows its own rule. Every player is allowed a single 40-minute break, and only one player at each table may be on dinner at once.

Six tables on Springfield Road
The poker room at Chances has 6 tables, which deal No Limit Hold'em as well as Pot Limit Omaha. There are cash games and tournaments every day. From Monday to Wednesday the room opens at 4 pm and closes at 1 am, and from Thursday to Saturday it runs 4 pm to 2 am. Sunday gets the earliest start, with the room opening at 11 am and closing at 1 am.
Registration runs through the Poker Atlas app. The room does not publish its stakes, so blinds for a given night are not listed here. Upstairs, DICE Kitchen + Bar sits next to the poker room and is open daily 11 am to 10 pm.
Phones and language at the table
Both rooms keep English as the language at the table. At Playtime the rule applies while a hand is in play, and Chances asks for English at its tables.
On phones, the two rooms part ways. At the downtown casino, no cell phone may be used during a hand. On Springfield Road, a phone may stay at the table, though not while its owner is in a hand.
